Styling

Styling is a crucial part of presenting product in an aesthetically pleasing way. The following is some of my best work, along with descriptions that can be used by retailers to educate associates on incoming trends.

Architecture Inspired

This board was inspired by downtown Milwaukee's bird like art museum and famous sunburst sculpture. When downtown, it is always cooler by the lake so layering is a must! Pair a basic tee or blousy statement shirt with a jacket or cardigan. Yellow and orange are fashionable colors right now, so pair an orange blouse or skirt with other layers and some metallic jewelry and you are ready for your museum trip!

Color Focus: Black and White

This was inspired by Narisco Rodriguez's Spring 2019 Ready to Wear collection, which features classic black and white styles. This color combination can easily transition from formal to casual attire as well as from season to season. White or black cardigans can be layered with trendy tops with ruffled sleeves, as seen above and can be paired with wide leg or skinny pants. To complete the outfit, suggest a pair of chunky heels and some jewelry for some sparkle.

Trend Forecast: Pacific Northwest

This was inspired bu Sea's 2019 resort collection which displayed white, denim and neutral tones with an effortless vintage feel. To wear a Sea 2019 inspired outfit, blousy tops and mom jeans are a must. Add a pair of platform lace up espadrilles, jewelry such as white hoop earrings or silver bracelets, and a military jacket and you are on your way to a Pacific Northwest get-away.
