E-Commerce Visual Merchandising

E-Commerce Visual Merchandising is essential to provide an aesthetically pleasing look for a company's online store.

Cooped up inside during the 2020 quarantine, I taught myself Shopify. From creating a store from scratch to the sale process, I am more than willing to help your online store take off!

As for the below project, I used Adobe Illustrator to complete an e-commerce site for Vita, a women's sport wear company . The fictitious store specializes in  leggings, shorts, and comfortable sport tops and has pride with the community that has grown around local stores.

The Home Page

This page introduces the brand to the the viewer.

I chose to use the above picture to illustrate the community and friendship surrounding the brand. The teal box appears when the viewer hovers over.

The About Page

This page shows the customer the company's culture and history.

I decided to provide a grid style photo collage to show the variety of activities that are possible with the Vita product.

With the retail industry becoming increasingly more experience based, I thought that it is important that Vita had a community associated with the company.

On this page, customers can locate their local Vita communities.

The Collections Page

This page shows all of the sub-categories and collections. The teal rectangles appear when the customer scrolls over the picture and from there can dive deeper into Vita's product.

The following shows the website as if the customer clicked on the "Shop Bras & Crop Tops" button, and continued to shop.

The Product Category Page

This product category page shows Vita's Bras and Crop Tops. From here, they can choose to Shop by Impact, just Crop Tops, or just Collections.

The Product Specific Page

This page shows the website as if the customer clicked on a high impact bra.

I chose to provide two size categories for the shopper - the band size and cup size. This way, the Vita consumers do not have to scroll through the size assortment as much.

The Product Specific Page Continued

Below the price, size, and product area, the customer can scroll to see the more detailed description to the left. I decided to create this portion to better illustrate the bra's characteristics.

Below this, the Vita customer can see what other community members have said about the product.
